Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic & Light Vehicle Mechanic Queanbeyan $48 - $58 per hour - Temp to Perm - 4am starts & 12pm starts We have a great opportunity available for experienced heavy vehicle diesel mechanics and light vehicle mechanics (wanting to take the next step in their mechanical career) to join a leader in environmental and waste management industry.
You will be responsible for the following: Service and maintain plant, equipment and fleet vehicles Strong diagnostic skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues A passion for working in fast-paced and hands-on environment Maintain safety standards and ensure all repairs are completed in a timely and safe manner Work closely with the workshop supervisor to ensure operational efficiency.
What we are looking for: Australian recognised Diesel / Heavy Vehicle Mechanics trade certificate Australian recognised Light Vehicle Mechanics trade certificate - our client will help you obtain your diesel mechanic certification.
Able to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair vehicles.
Commitment to safety and compliance Valid HR licence - preferred Ability to pass a medical including a drug and alcohol screening If you have recently completed your trade and interested in entering the waste industry, please apply.
