The Position: Our modern and busy Dandenong workshop is a hive of activity, and we are currently looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our team.
This is a dynamic work environment offering opportunity for development, training and career progression.
You will work with a diverse team of highly qualified mechanics who are some of the best in the business.
Our Heavy Vehicle Mechanics perform tasks including: Conducting scheduled and general servicesAssisting with on road vehicle breakdownsOpportunity to work on more complex engine repairsEnsuring we maintain a safe and reliable fleetFulfilling preventative maintenance schedulesDiagnosing mechanical faults and undertaking repairs to our busesTest driving vehicles to diagnose malfunctionsAnnual & routine safety inspectionsRecording work orders in our transport management systemEssential Criteria: Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent Trade Qualification)Completion of a 4 year apprenticeshipExperience working with heavy vehicles such as trucks or busesAbility to work in a team environmentCurrent MR or HR licence (not essential)Ability to follow instructionsA high regard for safetyAbility to meet deadlines and work to timeframesIf you are ready for a change, want to contribute to your local community, and create opportunity to expand your skillset to electrical vehicles, Ventura Dandenong workshop is the right move for you.
