Our Opportunity Work Location: Eliwana/Flying Fish, Pilbara region, Western Australia (90 km west of Tom Price), on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people
Roster: 7 days, 7 nights, 14 off – FIFO ex Perth
In this role, you'll be a key player in building and supporting a dynamic new team focused on maintaining and repairing side tipping road trains and support mining equipment including graders, loaders and excavators. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on support mining equipment, including: Road Trains: Scania R770 prime movers and Boomerang side tipping trailers Learn and adapt to new technologies, ensuring our maintenance team is prepared for the Green Fleet transition Conduct diagnostics and fault finding on equipment Carry out workshop and pit duties as needed Collaborate with SME maintenance teams to ensure 100% compliance with maintenance schedules Follow all Fortescue and site-specific safety procedures and policies Qualifications and Experience Australian Recognised Trade Qualification Previous experience in mining, specifically with support mobile plant equipment and/or side tipping road trains Experience or exposure to Electric SME is highly desirable Strong commitment to safety HR Driver's Licence About Us Be part of something big.
