Heavy Equipment Operator - Murrin MurrinApply now Job Number:45456Work type:Permanent - Full TimeLocation:Murrin Murrin, MalcolmCategories:Transport Operations & Logistics About the role: To satisfy our customers ongoing requirements by performing a variety of tasks including the effective and efficient acceptance, securing and delivery of their freight whilst working and contributing to a quality team.We are looking to employ safety focused Heavy Vehicle Operators on a permanent FIFO arrangement.Safe Operation of forklifts, front end- loaders and reach stackers - loading and unloading containerised product.Load and unload freight in a safe, timely and cost effective manner.Operate all vehicles and equipment in line with company policy and procedures.Ensure compliance with all safety, fatigue, heavy equipment operating guidelines and loading requirements.Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high degree of professionalism.Perform general terminal duties as directed including completing basic data entry work in line with your role along with lower-level maintenance of equipmentPerform. plant and equipment inspection/prestart as per Aurizon policy.Handle bulk containerized dangerous goods.Utilise all available competencies and licences and be willing to obtain any necessary licences and tickets for safe and continued operation.About you: To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:High risk heavy forklift ticket. HR / MC license.CN / Reach stacker ticketFront-end loader ticketDangerous goods licenceKnowledge of rules and regulations of Terminals, workplace health and safety, and dangerous goods.Substantial skill in carrying out routine tasks associated with terminal operations.Experience in heavy operations environment will be highly regarded.Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite.Sound skill in the movement of goods and materials.High level of interpersonal skills to grow effective internal/external relationships.
