Position OverviewWe are currently seeking a Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic to join our Brisbane team on a full-time basis. This hands-on role involves the maintenance, repair, and service of Schramm drill rigs and equipment.
Key Responsibilities Ensure all activities comply with Schramm SH&E policies and safety regulations.Participate actively in pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions.Maintain high housekeeping standards within the workshop.Perform ongoing maintenance, rebuilds, and servicing of Schramm drill rigs.Select suitable materials, tools, and methods for each task, ensuring equipment is in good condition.Read and interpret scopes of work, manuals, and parts lists to accurately execute tasks.Identify and request necessary parts for maintenance and repairs.Ensure all work is of a high standard and provide accurate job costings as required.Travel to site for repairs and servicing as necessary.About You Trade Qualification in Heavy Mobile Plant or Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics.Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.Proven ability to read and follow technical manuals and detailed instructions.Physically fit and capable of handling a physically demanding role, including climbing stairs and ladders.Strong commitment to safety and quality, with a continuous improvement mindset.Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised, as well as part of a team.Adaptable to a changing work environment and capable of effective communication across the organization.What We Offer Learn from respected professionals in the field.Job security with a reputable global company.Inclusive and diverse company culture.Access to the Employee Salary Continuance Scheme.Ability to pass an initial and ongoing drug and alcohol screening.Completion of a pre-employment medical.Right to live and work in Australia.Provision of up to two professional references.A valid Australian C Class Driver's License (minimum). #J-18808-Ljbffr
