THEM are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of Transport and Earthmoving equipment. This role requires strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
The position is workshop based with occasional field service. This will be negotiated on an individual basis.
Responsibilities include:
Diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components Performing routine maintenance and inspections Inspecting vehicles for safety and compliance Keeping accurate records of services and repairs Maintaining a clean and organised work area The successful applicant will be required to have the following:
Passion for the mechanical profession Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment (we can provide training) Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Valid driver's license Experience working on road haulage & heavy plant equipment Working at THEM Earthmoving means becoming part of a supportive, close-knit team.
