Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

Road Trains of Australia (RTA) prides itself in having over a decade of experience in safe & dependable transportation of livestock, petroleum and bulk commodities throughout the north of Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland in their fleet of 90+ prime movers.
RTA are currently seeking a fully qualified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join the business on a full-time basis.
As a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, you will maintain our equipment to ensure it is roadworthy. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Repairs, servicing checks, and service of Heavy-Duty Road trucksMaintain completed work records to an acceptable standardComply with all relevant legislation, regulations, and the company's policies & proceduresThe successful candidate will have: Trade qualifications as a Heavy Duty Diesel MechanicA valid HR / MC license (desirable but not essential)Willingness to undertake and clear a full Medical & drug & alcohol fitness assessmentProvide rights to work in AustraliaGreat attention to detail, taking pride in your workNational Police ClearanceJob Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00 - $50.00 per hour
Schedule: 8 hour shift
Supplementary Pay: Overtime pay
Experience: Heavy Duty Diesel mechanic: 1 year (Preferred)
Licence / Certification: MC Licence (Preferred)
Work Authorisation: Australia (Preferred)
