Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic / Fitter

Job Title: Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic / Fitter.
Job Status: start asap, full-time, ongoing, temp to perm.
Work Schedule: 6.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
Pay Rate: $45 - $60/hr.
Location: Forrestdale, WA.
Responsibilities: Service, maintain and repair a range of civil and earthmoving machinery, plant and vehicles including water trucks, graders, dump trucks, bobcats, excavators, utes, trucks, trailers, telehandlers, road sweepers, rollers, dozers, loaders and backhoes.
Diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicle automotive, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Disassembling and reassembling components and mechanical systems.
Following safe working practices.
Requirements: Experience with a range of civil and earthmoving machinery, plant and vehicles.
Use of hand and power tools, and workshop equipment.
Experience working in a workshop environment.
Ability to work as part of a team which includes Apprentices, Mechanics, Electricians, Plant Operators and Fabricators.
Australian trade certificate (Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology) Should be an Australian Citizen for employment purposes - no visas or sponsorships.
Valid WA C Class Driver's License.
Not somebody who has only done Mining / FIFO.
