Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic Apprenticeship

04th October, 2024 Finmec is an expanding maintenance provider to the mining and transport industry and has been operating in Hedland for the last 14 years. We are a Port Hedland locally owned business made up of qualified Heavy Duty Mechanics, Light Vehicle Mechanics, Auto Electricians, HV Electricians, Boilermakers, and more.
Finmec is looking for a Heavy Diesel Apprentice to join our Port Hedland Workshop.
Position: This is a full-time residential position based in Port Hedland. Applicant must have own housing. Housing allowance, relocation, and/or FIFO are not offered for this role.
Roster: Weekday roster or as per operational needs.
Key Role: To assist and learn all aspects of heavy diesel repairs on a range of equipment and mobile plant in conjunction with your apprenticeship.
To be considered for this position you will need: Minimum Year 10 completion. Manual Driver's License preferred. Own Transport preferred. Commitment to Safe Work Practices. Mechanical Aptitude and Willingness to Learn. Reliable, Enthusiastic and Energetic. Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen.
