About the position: This position offers the opportunity to join a dedicated team and utilise your diverse skills working on a variety of equipment. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the Heavy Diesel Mechanic is an integral part of KRSP's operational team who contributes to our success by ensuring the reliable availability of KRSP's fleet of mobile equipment. Key responsibilities of the role:Complete scheduled servicing of trucks, earthmoving equipment, and mobile plantUndertake preventative maintenance activitiesParticipate in fault finding and failure diagnosis as requiredAttend to emergency breakdown repairsRecommend initiatives to enhance efficiency and plant reliabilityComplete necessary electronic and manual documentationAbout you:We are seeking an experienced and motivated heavy diesel mechanic who has a proven track record in a similar position Your ability to demonstrate a high work ethic and safe work practices together with your positive mindset in dealing with work and people will be highly regarded. To be successful in this role you require:HD trade qualificationThorough knowledge of trucks, earthmoving and mobile plant mechanics and technologiesAdvanced fault finding and diagnostic abilityCurrent MR driver's license - preferred but not essentialLocation: This is a permanent, residential role based at our Broome workshop. Local Kimberley residents are encouraged to apply as are candidates who would consider relocating to the Broome region. Benefits: This is a permanent full-time position.
