As a full-time Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our customers' fleet of heavy equipment and on-highway trucks, ensuring our clients' operations run smoothly and efficiently.
What you'll be doing Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and on-highway trucks.Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and implement effective repair solutions.Conduct detailed inspections, testing, and servicing of all mechanical systems, components, and parts.Maintain accurate records of all work performed and provide detailed reports to the management team.Collaborate with the broader team to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality are upheld.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies, and apply your knowledge to improve maintenance processes.What we're looking for Formal qualifications in Heavy earthmoving/on-highway trucks.Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, preferably in the construction, mining, or transport industries.Extensive knowledge of diesel engine systems, hydraulics, and heavy equipment components.Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.A commitment to workplace safety and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe working environment.What we offerAt Elite Heavy Equipment, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and supportive work environment.
