Job DescriptionThe Position We are currently looking for an experienced, full-time Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our small, friendly team, maintaining our large fleet of over 170 vehicles and plant equipment. This role is Monday to Friday 6am - approx 3pm, with overtime and occasional weekend work.
Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on trucks, mobile plant equipment, light vehicles, and other equipment as required.Perform routine maintenance and inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess and repair equipment efficiently.Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and guidelines.Requirements:Minimum 3+ years experience as a heavy diesel mechanic.Valid Victorian HR license.Plant tickets highly regarded (Excavator, Bobcat, Front End Loader).Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.Experience working with civil construction machinery is highly regarded.Please apply via Seek.
