As a Heavy Diesel Fitter at Fortescue's Solomon Project, your expertise will be essential in maintaining and optimising Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) critical to our operations, ensuring they operate efficiently and in alignment with our ambitious sustainability goals.

Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance of large-scale Mobile Mining Equipment, CAT 793 Experience preferredDiagnostics and fault finding.Workshop and pit duties as required.Work collaboratively with all mobile maintenance teams to achieve 100% schedule compliance.Ensure Fortescue and site operations procedures and policies are followed.Qualifications and ExperienceAustralian Recognised Trade Certificate as a Heavy Duty (HD) Fitter or Diesel Mechanic for Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME).Previous experience working in the mining industry.Experience with mobile plant equipment.Strong commitment to workplace safety.Our CommitmentFortescue celebrates individual strengths and team members are encouraged to bring their whole selves to work.
