Your Responsibilities:
As the farm's Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of farm machinery by maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment. Your key responsibilities will include:
Servicing and repairing trucks, utes, CAT graders and loaders, John Deere tractors, smaller tractors, bulldozers, JCB telehandlers, and other machinery
Conducting basic servicing, diagnostics, and advanced mechanical repairs
Developing and managing a comprehensive maintenance schedule to minimise equipment downtime
Coordinating maintenance activities with farm management
Working independently to identify and resolve mechanical issues, ensuring efficient farm operations
Liaising with local dealerships for advanced servicing requirements
Maintaining a clean, organised workshop and ensuring all tools and equipment are in good condition
About You:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic who meets the following criteria:
Qualifications: Certified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with relevant experience
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously
Communication: Excellent communication and organisational skills
