We have service dealerships with Scania and Isuzu trucks and Palfinger Cranes.An opportunity for a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team has arisen within our fast growing business.
Must be motivated and have the ability to work on your own as well as in a team environment.Responsibilities :Diagnose, repair and maintain heavy-duty vehicles and equipmentPerform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performanceRequirements :Diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipmentDismantling, repairing, rebuilding, assembling and installing parts to vehicles, construction and industrial machinery in the workshopCarrying out daily duties as per work procedures to meet schedules.Supervising & training workshop apprentices in accordance with the organisation's policies and applicable laws when an apprentice is delegated to themAll work to be carried out in a safe manner and areas to be kept clean and tidy.Carrying out work in accordance with WHS obligations and responsibilities.Maintain a neat and tidy appearance in the workplace, wearing the supplied uniform and suitable protective footwear always.Treat all customers with courtesy, respect and tact.Required Knowledge & Qualification :Heavy and medium truck & trailer repair experienceHigh level of technical ability & knowledgeReliable transport with HR / C licence an advantageMust have own hand toolsEWP and Crane experience highly regarded#J-18808-Ljbffr
