We are on the lookout for talented individuals with experience in diesel engines who are ready to bring their expertise to one of Bunburys top truck dealerships.
Core Responsibilities: Inspect and repair vehicles with diesel enginesHandle routine repairs, including oil and tire changesAccurately interpret diagnostic test resultsWrite detailed inspection reports and repair plansTrain and mentor trainees and apprenticesCollaborate with other diesel mechanicsSubmit reports and plans for approval to customersAdvise customers on repair options and costsConduct test drives to ensure proper functionalitySafely use electricity, machinery, and hand toolsAdhere to all workshop rules, standards, and health & safety regulations What Were Looking For: Previous experience as a Truck MechanicAppropriate trade certificationExperience with Japanese trucks (highly regarded)A background in diesel mechanicsHR Licence (advantageous but not essential)Quick thinking and problem-solving abilitiesStrong time management, organisational, and collaboration skillsA high degree of integrity and attention to detailA commitment to health and safetyExcellent customer service skills and the ability to build rapportExperience mentoring and coaching apprentices What We Offer: Competitive paySet weekday hours for work-life balanceJob security in a thriving companyRelocation assistance for the right candidatesDevelopment and job promotion opportunitiesA state-of-the-art workshop facility This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic looking to take their career to the next level with a forward-thinking company.
