About the role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join the team in our Broome Workshop.
Reporting to the Workshop and Logistics Manager, the Heavy Diesel Mechanic is an integral part of KRSP's operational team who contributes to our success by ensuring the reliable availability of KRSP's fleet of mobile equipment.
This position is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team and contribute to a significant positive impact on the day-to-day lives of the members of communities serviced by KRSP.
Key responsibilities of the role: Complete scheduled servicing and repairs of trucks, earthmoving, and mobile plant equipmentUndertake preventative maintenance activitiesParticipate in fault finding and failure diagnosis as requiredOn occasions attend to emergency breakdown repairs in the fieldRecommend initiatives to enhance efficiency and plant reliabilityComplete necessary electronic and manual documentationLocation This is a permanent, residential role based at our Broome office. What you will need An ability to demonstrate a high work ethic, integrity, and safe work practices together with a positive mindset.
