We are currently expanding and looking for employees who are wanting to work and progress their careers further.We are currently recruiting for Heavy Diesel Mechanics for FIFO positions to join our Goldfield's Workshop team 50kms out of Kalgoorlie.
These roles are on 2/1 Rosters working 12-hour shifts.Hourly rate subject to experience and all positions are offered a Workshop daily allowance in addition.ESSENTIAL CRITERIARecognised National Trade Qualification/ QF Certificate III Diesel Motor Mechanic - Heavy Commercial Vehicles (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years' experienceExperience and/or recognised training with CAT heavy earth moving equipmentExtensive experience with diagnosis, overhaul, repair, tune, maintain and testing of a range of diesel-powered heavy equipment including trucks, excavators, dozers, and other earth moving equipmentExtensive experience in Heavy Haulage Prime movers and Trailers would be beneficialCompleting required safety duties such as job inspections, task planning, JHAs, take 5s and others as requiredHigh level of understanding of maintenance and reliability principlesExperience in a contracting environment and proven customer focusHigh Risk Work Licence – Forklift Ticket would be beneficial but not necessaryAll candidates must supply a recent National Police Clearance (less than 6-months old) and have the ability to pass pre-employment medicals and drug/alcohol screening.Please note we will only contact shortlisted candidates for interview.To be part of a friendly and supportive working environment that encourages initiative and innovation, please submit your resume and click on the 'Apply for this job' button.
