About the role
Whittaker Contracting are currently seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters and Boilermakers to join their team in the Mudgee region, NSW. This full-time role will see you working on a variety of heavy mining equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across the fleet.

What you'll be doing
Undertake the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of a wide range of heavy diesel equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues Perform scheduled servicing and inspections on machinery Fabricate, modify, and install parts and components as required Maintain accurate records and documentation Work collaboratively within a team of skilled tradespeople Contribute to a strong safety culture on site What we're looking for
Formal trade qualifications as a Heavy Diesel Fitter or Boilermaker Extensive experience servicing and repairing a range of heavy machinery Strong diagnostics and problem-solving skills High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality work Excellent communication and teamwork skills Current driver's licence and ability to obtain the necessary site inductions What we offer
