Heavy Diesel/ Plant/Light Vehicle Mechanic ApprenticeshipsMaas Group are seeking Apprentices for Heavy Diesel / Plant Mechanic / Light Vehicle to join our team in 2024. Complete training and gain on-the-job experience to become a qualified and competent Mechanic.
Primary duties and responsibilities: Assist with the routine servicing of plant & equipmentParticipate in weekly toolbox talks.Fill out daily timesheet.Develop an understanding of Maas Group WHS policies and procedures.Ensure that all required PPE is being worn at all times whilst on site.Follow all instructions from workshop manager and mechanics.Assist Mechanics with finding and fixing leaks and faults with machinery.Complete all TAFE assessments and assignments and submit in required timeframes.Attend TAFE for the last week of every month.Ensure workshop is kept clean and tidy as per instruction from workshop manager.Hazard identification through active participation in the risk assessment process.Participate in daily pre-start meetings.Key requirements: Must be willing to learn and participate actively in all training and assessments.Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.What we offer: Competitive RatesEmployee Rewards Program with exclusive discounts
