Health Safety & Wellbeing Specialist Reporting to the Head of Property, the Health Safety & Wellbeing Specialist will be responsible for managing best practice health & safety (H&S), wellness and injury management systems and initiatives for the business.
You will facilitate and foster a proactive risk management and safety culture through the development of committees, programs and projects.
This is a role working closely with all the business units, you will influence a strong culture driving implementation of efficient HSEQ systems, risk management and proactive coaching across the business with regular communication with senior leaders.
The purpose of this role is to embed change and progressive safety initiatives with a risk-based approach.
Requirements Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety required or equivalent Experience in managing health, safety, environment and quality across a diverse complex organisation.
A practical approach with strong knowledge of legislative requirements.
The ability to drive change and performance and to initiate and develop solutions to complex issues.
Proven experience in developing and implementing process improvement and system optimisation strategies to deliver organisational compliance and efficiency.
