About the role:
Ensure the health and safety of a workforce committed to supporting the communityOngoing full-time position5 weeks annual leave and a monthly ADOReporting to the Director Health, Safety & Wellbeing, the Health Safety & Wellbeing Consultant works in a team responsible for Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Emergency Management, workers compensation and return to work.
In this role you will partner with and play an expert advisory role to managers and staff on workforce safety matters across portfolios that include: chemical management; occupational violence and aggression; manual handling; early intervention; and workforce wellbeing.
The role also supports injured workers and return to work.
To be considered for this role you will:
Have sound working knowledge of OHS and workers compensation legislationBe experienced in conducting incident investigations and risk assessments, as well as supporting the implementation of control measuresBe passionate and proactive in delivering outcomes to support employees to go home safely every dayPosition Description:HERE
