We are a privately owned Western Australian company, specialising in mining services, construction, building maintenance and civil works in the Pilbara Region for over 37 years. About the role We currently have an opportunity for a Health & Safety Officer to join our busy team carrying out ongoing works in the Pilbara. This is a FIFO role, with 8:6 roster on offer. This role will be reporting directly to the HSEQ Manager and involves the following key duties: Inspecting project sites and conducting audits to ensure compliance with government and industry standards and regulations Performing Critical Control Field Verification (CCFV) checks and review of critical risk/high risk work across our work fronts Assisting in conducting safety meetings and organising training and education of workers Observation of workers and implementation of required PPE and safety systems Inspection of equipment, machines, tools and PPE to ensure compliance with safety standards and client standards Promote a positive safety culture through engagement with the work team and encouragement of open communication and reporting Producing reports for the HSEQ Manager on performance Byblos offers a great variety of work, roster flexibility, a supportive team, as well as ongoing opportunities for role development and upskilling.
