The Health and Safety Manager's primary objective is to support the implementation of work health and safety programs, injury management, and return-to-work processes at Opal's Botany Paper Mill (B9) and Recycling facility.
This is an initial 12-month fixed term contract.
You will contribute to the success of Opal by:
Implementation and monitoring of the Opal HSMS at sites.Implementation of the Opal H&S strategy at the specified sites.Governance and Assurance (Regulatory compliance and internal reporting).Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory and system requirements.Support Worker's compensation and Health and Wellbeing processes.Support Health & Safety Training needs of the allocated business unit.Discover Yourself…

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have:
