Design & Build are happy to bring to market the opportunity to join one of Melbourne's best known developers and builders as their Health & Safety Manager. With projects throughout the Metro area, our client has delivered high quality apartment & multi-residential builds for the last 30+ years.
About the RoleAs the Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for driving the safety culture throughout the company. Split between the office & being out on site, your day to day responsibilities will include:
Training & mentoring the site teams
Managing audits
Writing & reviewing existing policies and procedures
Driving safety culture
Contractor management (where necessary)
Incident investigations
Safety/ site walks (where necessary)
About You
5+ years' Health & Safety Manager experience
Multi-residential & apartment experience highly preferred
Diploma of WHS or higher
High level oral & written communication skills
A diplomatic approach to safety
Attention to detail, and an ability to articulate safety procedures & policies
Valid drivers license
