We are hunting for a full-time, experienced Health & Safety Manager for a leading civil construction company dedicated to delivering high-quality projects nationally while maintaining a strong commitment to safety.
They pride themselves on creating a safe and healthy work environment for employees and stakeholders.

Role Summary: The Safety Manager will be responsible for creating detailed plans for protecting against potential hazards as well as how best to react to accidents, incidents, or emergencies that can arise.
The successful candidate will implement, monitor, and improve safety standards across all construction sites, promoting a culture of safety and ensuring that all activities are conducted in a safe manner.

Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain OHS policies and procedures.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
Investigate incidents and accidents, and prepare detailed reports.
Provide safety training and induction programs for employees and subcontractors.
Ensure that processes are compliant to ensure safety equipment and machinery is in good working condition.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure adherence to legal requirements.
Promote a safety-first culture within the company.
Qualifications and Experience: 3-5+ years experience within a similar role is essential.
In-depth knowledge of OHS legislation and best practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and drive health & safety across the business.
Proficient in using safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver's license & ability to travel to different sites (Occasional interstate travel).
