Mars Chocolate is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the HSE Team as the Health, Safety & Environment Technician, where you will be the person to ensure we continuously evolve and improve our HSE Journey.You will be working closely with all levels of our factory staff to deliver strong Health, Safety & Environment standards. You will display confidence in supporting & coaching the wider business on adhering to the required standards and continuously improving the safety performance and culture.
What are we looking for?Degree qualifications or equivalent experience and skills - Diploma WHS or Cert IV WHSProven experience working in a HSE role or implementing HSE practicesExperience working in manufacturing (preferred but not essential)Confidence in conducting crucial conversationsSkills in presenting HSE content to individuals and groups when requiredAbility to build rapport with all on-site functions of the businessAction orientatedWhat will be your key responsibilities?Confident in providing expert knowledge and guidance on HSE issuesHandle incident management, investigations and corrective actionsRisk Assessments (Plant, Technical, Traffic, Manual Handling)Assist/Coach/Lead on Incident ManagementAssociate coaching and compliance monitoringManage and influence stakeholders and peersMonitoring adherence to MARS standardsTraining review and validationProject Management and influencing positive changeWhat can you expect from Mars?Genuine career progression with a focus on you and your career goals.
