Job Description About your new company
Our client is a multinational company specialising in manufacturing products in the construction and building industry. They are headquartered in Emu Plains and their offices and distributors span throughout Australia, South East Asia and the South Pacific. They offer onsite support for all aspects of the business from specification through to installation.
About your new role
Reporting into the Operations Manager, the role is to ensure the business is fully compliant with safety, environmental and quality standards and lead the continuous improvements across all production departments. Duties will include but won't be limited to –
Developing, implementing and monitoring safety programs including training programs Undertake investigations of all accidents and incidents, recommend or coordinate corrective actions Maintaining thorough knowledge of both Federal and State WHS regulations, advise and update company information as required Maintenance of ISO 9001 accreditation Manage quarterly training program for all employees Conduct safety meetings with relevant staff to cover various safety exposures and document accordingly Establish and enforce safe working practices for all employees Identify and recommend improvements to the Quality system including improved productivity, quality and cost reduction About you Must have manufacturing exposure in a similar role for at least 1 year 2-3 years' experience in a similar role Exposure to ISO 9001 would be highly regarded Must have experience with writing documents such as SOPs Hands-on working with the team Passionate about driving a safety culture What's in it for you Permanent role close to home in Emu Plains Up to $100,000 + Super depending on experience Newly created opportunity to develop into your own #J-18808-Ljbffr
