Overview:
Dynamic Health Safety and Wellbeing Systems Administrator position is available, a permanent full-time position. Based at the Melbourne CBD campus (Hybrid role), and Flexible Working Arrangements.
The Health Safety and Well-Being (HSW) Systems Administrator is responsible for the operational administration of the technology systems supporting the HSW team.
Salary Level HEW7 plus 17% Superannuation.

The Operations Portfolio houses significant drivers and delivery components that are integral in bringing the RMIT strategy to life, across the globe. Each of these functions supports the global operations of the University both directly and through its controlled entities.
The Portfolio incorporates the following business units: Governance, Legal & Strategic Operations, Finance, Procurement, People, Enterprise Project & Business Performance, Information and Technology Services, Property Services, and the Office of the Chief Operating Officer.
About the role The Health Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Systems Administrator will manage the following applications:
Chemical Safety Management System (ChemAlert)
SafetyNow Risk Management System (Noggin)
SafetyNow Contractor Management System (Noggin)
Laboratory and Workshop Management System
Some of the above applications are in the process of being on-boarded, so this role will be working initially as part of the project for implementation activities (including data migration activities) followed by managing them operationally on a day-to-day basis. The role will reside within the Information & Technology Services (ITS) unit of Operations but will be working very closely with the People team and the stakeholders of these applications. The above applications are a combination of SaaS and On-Prem hosting.
These systems are for use across RMIT and its entities and are used by staff, students, and contractors.
About You To be successful in this position, you'll have, as a minimum:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in software configuration, database management, and system integration is essential.
Familiarity with programming languages, project management methodologies, and data analysis tools is advantageous.
Demonstrated experience in training others in processes and systems.
Strong stakeholder management skills with experience in managing external vendors and working with various teams and areas across the organisation. Excellent problem-solving skills.
Set up and maintain access permissions and user groups for all HSW systems, working closely with the IT Security team and policies.
Create and maintain system documentation of workflows, other configuration changes, and user-guides for future references and training purposes. Participate in ITS projects related to HSW systems, providing configuration and other support as required.
Respond to and resolve ServiceNow requests relating to the HSW systems.
Provide training, coaching, and support to system users, where necessary.
