Health & Safety Advisor Your new company Your new company is a reputable third-level education provider looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join their established safety team to look after safety for refurbishment projects that are happening in their campus. Your new role In your new role you will be responsible for: Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of projects to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and organisation policies Provide onsite support and advice to site contractor teams, project delivery team managers and project managers Ensure contractor safety documentation is reviewed to ensure appropriate and effective controls are in place for the project scope of works, and up to date Report and investigate incidents, injuries and hazards and implement agreed control measures Review and approve permit to work applications for the project delivery team ensuring all material included is reflected of planned works and meets regulatory requirements Lead risk assessment and management efforts within the designated work area, overseeing the identification of risks, development of mitigation strategies, and adherence to safety standards What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed, you will ideally: Hold a relevant educational qualification in Health & Safety Have significant work experience within Health & Safety What you'll get in return In return, you will receive: Competitive daily rate Long-term assignment Reputable employer Company vehicle provided for site travel What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
