Job Description - Health & Safety Advisor (261509) TasWater CDO have a requirement for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our team.
What will your day look like in this role: Monitor and interpret relevant HSE legislation, policies and regulations in order to provide direction and advice to projects which meet statutory and corporate objectives and responsibilities. Where required, assess safety in design requirements and provide input for constructability reviews. Facilitate risk workshops in order to effectively plan work in accordance with the project schedule. Ensure that UGL's HSE objectives and goals are set and attained at the project level including tracking KPIs for the Business. Support the HSE Manager to execute the Project Audit program; including maintaining good documentation records for easy execution regarding third party audits and maintaining client prequalification status. What are we looking for you to bring to the team: Diploma level or Tertiary Qualifications (Desirable), or Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety + trade background. Certificate IV in Training. Minimum 5 years' experience as a HSE Advisor in a high-risk industry (Project Construction Desirable). Experience working in the capacity of Principal Contractor (Desirable). ICAM Incident Investigation trained and experience in leading investigations and thorough report writing skills that are well received by Regulators, senior management and client representatives.
