Job Description - Health & Safety Advisor (HEA00000011) Description Followmont Transport have a new opportunity to join our Health & Safety team as a Safety Advisor.
This position will be driving the administration function and providing support within our Health and Safety team.
You will be a part of a busy and fast-paced environment supporting critical day-to-day operations and delivering on key projects.
This full-time role would suit a motivated and enthusiastic professional with demonstrated problem solving and time management skills.
The Role: Fulltime Permanent Position | Monday to FridayCompany Laptop and Mobile Phone ProvidedProviding administrative support including collating data, data entry, creating reports and promotional materialInternal auditing and providing advice for continual improvementProvide advice and support to Supervisors and Managers in meeting their WHS obligations whilst providing exceptional operational serviceIdentifying and contributing to safety improvements and safety and wellbeing programsFacilitate the research and development of Standard Operating Procedures [SOPs], focusing on documenting operational tasks with all safety considerations identifiedUndertaking Risk Assessments and providing written reportsMust have the ability to positively work with all levels of the business to achieve strategy plans, objectives and targetsCoordinate, participate and support meaningful Health and Safety Committee meetingsCoordinate and support emergency response training annual 'Evacuation' exercises throughout the companyBe available for travel as requiredQualifications: Cert IV Health & Safety – minimum of 3 yearsHave worked previously in the field of health and safetyPrevious experience within the transport industry or warehousing is highly regardedFollowmont Transport is a passionate family business 100% dedicated to service and maintain a hands on relationship with customers, our people and suppliers.
