Health & Safety Advisor - CivilAn exciting opportunity as a Health & Safety Advisor with our thriving civil construction client in Echuca, Victoria.
In this permanent role, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring the safety and well-being of the dedicated team, while contributing to the success of large-scale civil projects.
With work to carry through 2025, your direct duties will cover:Daily site compliance of staff and contractors: Take 2's - fit to work check, PPE, JHA, SWMS.Daily site checks: Pick up any irregularities and promptly report them.Administration: Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly reports are uploaded to the safety management system.Toolbox: Promote safety culture, recognise good safety behavior.Site Inductions: Streamline systems in place, performed daily.Delivery driver inductions: Compliance for vehicles entering/exiting site.On-site client liaison: Bi-weekly site inspections.Preferred Requirements:Proficiency in conducting site safety inspections, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.Experience in civil construction and bulk earthworks projects, with a deep understanding of safety protocols.Skilled in managing safety compliance, including pre-start toolbox talks and safety reporting.Adept at conducting staff and contractor site inductions, keeping everyone informed and engaged.Ability to maintain and update licenses related to safety, keeping our team up-to-date and compliant.Qualifications:Relevant qualifications in health and safety, with a proven track record in the construction industry.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with our diverse workforce.Adaptability and problem-solving skills to navigate the dynamic nature of construction projects.For more information and to discuss this vacancy and other roles in the Civil Construction industry, please contact Antonio Caione on 0413 241 783 or at ****** or follow the prompts when clicking 'apply now'.
