About the roleMater's Information Management team has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and professional Health Records Scanning Officer to join the team! We have a Full-Time and permanent opportunity available, which will see you manage the processing and scanning of clinical documentation.Our Health Records Scanning Officers are based across multiple Mater SEQ locations. You will be required to have availability across Monday-Friday 6am-8pm and though weekends are not a requirement every week, flexibility to assist on weekends is required depending on workloads.Accurately and efficiently complete tasks associated with scanning of paper health record documentation into the Health Record Scanning system (preparing, scanning, indexing and review)Ensuring the information on the documents is correct once scanned into the systemWork to volume of work and quality targets, ensuring they are met.Contribute to the team by identifying inefficiencies and inaccuracies in processes associated with health record scanning and discuss with the Team LeaderAbout youIdeally you will be a process orientated person who is looking for a fast-paced environment. You will also have,Experience working in a health care environment is highly desirableAbility to quickly learn different computer applicationsExcellent attention to detail and data entry skillsExperience in applying quality assurance processes to repetitive tasksDemonstrated ability to follow policies and proceduresAbility to complete repetitive tasks accurately at required volume and within timeframesUnderstanding of patient confidentialityYou like to work in a team environment and comfortable to work autonomously when requiredApplications close on 13th of September 2024.
