Community Development (Community Services & Development) Full time Katherine West Health Board (KWHB) is currently looking for (2) Health Promotion Officers - Safe Tracks. This position will be well suited to someone who has an understanding of Aboriginal cultural values, and commitment to the advancement and self-determination of Aboriginal communities.
Established in 1998, Katherine West Health Board is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation that provides a range of clinical, preventative and public health services to clients in the Katherine West Region of the Northern Territory.
With four major health care centres and a range of satellite centres, KWHB services an area over two times the size of Tasmania (162,000km²), helping to improve the health and wellbeing of some of the most remote communities in Australia.

About the OpportunityKatherine West Health Board has been funded for a proactive new program supporting Road Safety.
As a Health Promotion Officer for the Safe Tracks program, you will be delivering education and activities regarding pedestrian and road safety, driver license education, and promoting safer driving practices to prevent road trauma across Australia.
