Pathology provides diagnostic and consultative services to medical specialists and general practitioners and their patients in hospital and in the community.The Anatomical Pathology Department operates between Monday – Friday. It encompasses Histology, Cytology, Electron Microscopy, Mortuary and Administration (medical secretaries).Under direction, the successful applicant will be required to perform diagnostic and other technical tests and procedures, play a role in the trouble shooting of instrumentation and Quality Control processes and procedures at the Canberra and North Canberra Hospitals.
