As a Health Precinct Coordinator, you will: Provide oversight to the successful operations of the Health Precinct facility at the Warrnambool campus and provide on-site support and advice to other regional teaching sites as required.Coordinate project work and provide administrative support to the smooth operational outcomes of the Health Precinct across the schools utilising the space.Work collaboratively with colleagues and existing teams across a range of schools to ensure efficient and safe operation of teaching spaces, field sites and equipment.Work closely with the Occupational Health and Safety team to provide advice and implement best practices including the management of all matters relating to hazardous materials and dangerous goods, and recommend changes to work practices, where appropriate to promote high safety standards.Trial new technologies and modify existing processes to ensure the optimal smooth running of teaching and research activities.Provide high-level technical and administrative support, training and advice to staff and students regarding equipment, policies and practices that meet the relevant legislative requirements for laboratory and field-based teaching and research.To be successful, you'll have: A Degree in biology or health-related discipline with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience; orExtensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical and administrative operational roles.Extensive experience and management expertise in technical and administrative roles; orAn equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training (health-related field).Experience in occupational health and safety regulations, including dangerous goods and biological hazardous substance handling and management.Demonstrated ability and experience in coordination of staff and resources.Experience in project management.Special Requirements: Infrequent work outside business hours is required (e.g., work at evening or weekend events is required).Travel between University campuses and to clinical school locations will be required.Please submit your updated resume and a short cover letter outlining your skills and experience.
