Nurse Unit Manager - Intensive Care Unit The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is looking for a Nurse Unit Manager to join their supportive team at the Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH).
The PAH ICU in the Division of Heart, Lung and Critical Care (HLCC) is regarded as one of the leading adult tertiary specialist facilities in Australia.
With 26 funded beds on average and over 2300 annual admissions, the ICU has the highest surgical throughput of any hospital in Australia and New Zealand.
All major adult specialties are provided except for burns and obstetrics.
The unit strives to offer a culture of education, learning, and support within the multi-disciplinary team.

About the Role
Accountable at an advanced practice level for leading and coordinating the Intensive Care Unit to achieve best practice standards for clinical practice and patient-centred care within a healthcare team.
Responsible for the provision of effective and efficient human, material, and financial resource management.
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of clinical skills and knowledge in Critical Care Nursing.
Utilises transformational leadership to build capacity, capability, engagement, and motivation of nursing teams to understand the importance of providing evidence-informed care.
Experienced in collecting and analysing service data; reporting variances and benchmarking to align practice service with best practice.
