Medical Director - Queensland Rural Generalist Pathway Join Darling Downs Health as a Medical Director and lead the Queensland Rural Generalist Pathway (QRGP) in shaping the future of rural healthcare. As the Medical Director for the QRGP, you'll take the helm in driving the program's success by leading a dedicated team of Training Advisors and engaging with a network of healthcare professionals, universities, and training organisations. You'll focus on delivering high-standard educational programs, ensuring workforce sustainability through effective recruitment and retention, and advocating for rural health needs at a state and national level. Your expertise will shape policy, strategy, and service design while fostering partnerships that enhance rural generalist medicine. Every decision you make will reflect Darling Downs Health's values, ensuring positive outcomes for communities across Queensland.
'You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $259,909 (L27) comprising salary rates between $126,199 (L18) and $160,006 p.a. (L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value. Additional location specific allowances may apply'
