Health Innovation, Information and Integrated Care Manager • New leadership role

Winnunga Nimmityjah Aboriginal Health & Community Services is Canberra's only Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service. Located in the heart of Canberra at our recently purpose-built clinic and offices in Narrabundah, we provide trusted holistic healthcare to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities of the ACT and surrounding areas.
This newly created role of Health Innovation, Information and Integrated Care Manager reports to the CEO and is part of the senior leadership team. It requires someone with a continual focus on enhancing the client experience and outcomes, from a big picture and operational perspective.
Key responsibilities include: Lead an integrated approach to quality multidisciplinary care to ensure that clients experience a well-coordinated mix across Clinical, Allied Health and Social Health and Wellbeing.Lead, collaborate and monitor in relation to major health service reforms and other high priority strategies.Champion the use of data and evidence to improve health and wellbeing services and outcomes.Foster the conditions which create capacity and capability for learning, improvement and innovation across Winnunga.Management oversight of the Allied Health team.Qualifications, skills and qualities we are looking for: Relevant tertiary qualifications in clinical, health-related or epidemiology disciplines.Advanced skills in managing reform and leading health services.Demonstrated capability to deliver results, including in data analysis, problem solving and service delivery.Demonstrated experience and skills in leading people and their development, positively motivating and promoting high performance.Strong understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and wellbeing, needs and services including the social determinants of health.Demonstrated experience and skills in communicating effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.Strong collaboration skills in working with a diverse mix of professional colleagues in a multidisciplinary team environment, and developing and maintaining appropriate internal and external relationships.High level capability in the development and use of relevant practice and/or management programs.Ability and extensive experience in managing self and others in a complex environment including conflict and crisis management.What we offer in return: A supportive, friendly and professional team.Salary packaging (our not-for-profit status makes our employees eligible for an additional tax-free component which increases your take-home pay).Support for professional development.Free gym membership.Come and join our team!
