About your new role:
Join us in your new role where you'll lead Clinical Information Services for the Tablelands Sector from the Armidale Rural Referral Hospital.
You'll oversee a dedicated team of clinical information officers, medicolegal officers, and clinical coders, fostering a supportive environment for collaborative success.
Your responsibilities will encompass the day-to-day management of Clinical Information Departments across multiple sites, driving quality improvement initiatives to elevate service delivery standards.
This includes keeping abreast of activity-based funding (ABF) principles and associated data collection rules, supporting Clinical Coders through coaching and mentoring, and leading the development and implementation of clinical forms and information systems.

You will display personal attributes of self-motivation, initiative, reliability, and capacity to work independently as well as part of a team. You will possess advanced written and verbal communication skills and ideally demonstrate proficiency in the use of ICD-10-AM in an Activity Based Funding model.
