Children's Health Queensland is a specialist statewide hospital and health service dedicated to caring for children and young people from across Queensland and northern New South Wales.
The purpose of this position is to provide assistance and support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, families and carers across Division of Surgery & Peri-operative Services during their patient journey to provide priority access to our services within the division.
The Indigenous Officer will work collaboratively with the broader multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the provision of appropriate and culturally sensitive services which contribute to improved health outcomes and the reduction of health inequalities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
