The Finance Management Team at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Finance Officer to join their team on a temporary basis.
Your opportunity This position provides efficient and effective Financial Accounting Services to clients serviced by the MHHS Finance Unit while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, approved policies and procedures, and agreed System Support service and performance standards.
About the Team Finance Management consists of Financial Accounting, including Revenue, Assets, and Management Accounting. The team provides routine and ad-hoc information, analysis, and advice for various stakeholders such as the Executive, service directors, business managers, and clinicians.
About our Hospital and Health Service Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services, and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000 km² and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine, and Sarina.
