The Role
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Health Coach position primarily involves health checks, onsite health coaching at workplaces with customers across various locations, and phone coaching sessions to relevant clients.
Duties include:
Providing individualised, targeted health coaching to participants of Healthy Business's wellbeing programs across our 4 key pillars of health: Physical health Mental health Lifestyle health Fatigue health Using health coaching strategies to encourage adoption of habits with participants that are conducive to a higher quality of life. Following Healthy Business coaching principles to customise coaching plans for program participants including goal setting and action plans. Engaging with employees through site presentations, initiatives, and walk arounds. Where required, coordinate care with other health professionals (on site doctors, physiotherapists, internal coaches, external providers) for optimal participant care. Build and maintain relationships with key onsite personnel. Drive engagement of Healthy Business programs at site level. There may be opportunities to further in the role with account management, reporting, and business development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in a health-related field (i.e. exercise science, nutrition, exercise physiology, physiotherapy, etc.) Experience in conducting Health Assessments and Health Coaching (2 years +) and the provision of healthy lifestyles Knowledge and delivery of corporate health programs Experience in promoting health services within the workplace High level of communication and interpersonal skills both written & oral to communicate with people from a range of occupational groups and at an executive level. Self-directed, and ability to thrive working in a fast-paced environment Accreditation and registration with your appropriate governing body (e.g. ESSA, AHPRA is highly regarded but not essential) Mandatory Requirements:
Current State Driver's License & Reliable Roadworthy Vehicle Must be willing to travel - Metro & Regional area Reasonable travel to North Queensland may be required Access to own smart devices Ability to work remote What we offer:
