The available roles are in the following locations:BulmanReporting to the Clinical Operations Manager and working closely with a cohesive and multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will be responsible to coordinate and support our remote health team in achieving their goals. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring integrated care delivery, and building the capacity of Aboriginal Health Practitioners (AHPs) and other Indigenous staff to provide culturally safe healthcare.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate the multidisciplinary health team to manage illness, promote well-being, and maintain health systems.Oversee the planning, portfolio management, pharmacy operations, and consumables within the health centre.Manage assets and resources effectively to ensure optimal functioning of the health centre.Provide education and training to staff, enhancing their skills in delivering culturally safe care.Collaborate extensively with internal and external organizations to achieve the best possible health outcomes for the community.Participate in the emergency call roster and support staff in addressing after-hours needs.Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for both staff and patients.What will you need to succeed?To be successful in this position you will be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a General Nurse or as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner.Proven broad comprehensive primary health care experience with advanced clinical skills and competencies needed to work effectively in remote areas will be essential for success in this role.Able to demonstrate a commitment to the objectives and ethos of Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations such as Sunrise and the principles of Aboriginal community control health services, you will have a clear respect for Aboriginal culture.
