You will lead a multidisciplinary team, overseeing the coordination and management of elective surgery waitlists, theatre utilisation, and ensuring the achievement of national targets. By working closely with key stakeholders, including the CALHN Executive Group, Medical Leads, and external partners, you will drive initiatives to optimise patient flow, reduce cancellations, and enhance surgical outcomes.

About You We're looking for a dedicated and skilled Elective Surgery Manager with the following qualities:
Registered Nurse/Midwife with a current practicing certificate and 3+ years' post-registration experience. Strong leadership and communication skills with experience in conflict resolution and team management. Proven ability to drive change management and improve models of care with a focus on patient-centred approaches. In-depth knowledge of relevant healthcare standards, legislation, and safety guidelines .
