Supporting the care delivery team is at the heart of the Health and Security Assistant role.
You will provide support to the nursing team in the delivery of patient care, under the guidance of nursing staff.
You will undertake shift work, on a rotating roster and provide general assistance in wards, have cleaning duties and provide portering for patient transfers around the facility, and you will undertake security related duties as required and or directed.In accordance with the requirements of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Regulation 2013, any person engaged in NDIS related work is required to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) clearance as part of their employment with Western NSW Local Health District if successful for this role.
