The Role The purpose of the role is to support the HSEC Manager to lead, manage, and continuously improve the health and safety performance at Phosphate Hill.
This role will also design and embed the Safety Health Management System (SHMS).
Core Accountabilities include but are not limited to: Facilitation of WRACs, Bowtie and Critical Control reviews and implementationMonitor, report and provide insights on progress against health and safety performance metricsManage and conduct safety training programs and risk management processesRSHQ reporting supportOversee the implementation of health and safety initiatives and drive continuous improvement in safety performanceCoordination of Emergency Response and occupational health systems and processesLead, develop and maintain a high-performing team by ensuring that all safety, health, and emergency team members are sufficiently skilled, qualified, enabled, and motivated to succeed in their roles and to deliver against HSE function objectives.What you'll bring You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive, and high-performance cultureTertiary qualifications in HSE or relevant experienceExperience working in a chemical processing environmentStrong leadership experience is paramountStrong technical safety experience and understanding of Qld safety legislationIf you are excited about the role and think you have what it takes but your experience doesn't align 100%, we still want to hear from you.

The facilities comprise of ammonia, beneficiation, phosphoric acid, granulation, and sulphuric acid plants plus infrastructure, utilities, power generation, and housing to support the permanent workforce.
