About the Role:
Our client is seeking a Health and Safety Officer to join their team. As the Health and Safety Officer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the health, safety, environment, and quality management system. You will work closely with the Business Operations Manager and various stakeholders to ensure compliance and promote a culture of safety and excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement the Health and Safety Management System, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry-specific standards.Lead investigations into accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.Develop and deliver Health and Safety training programs for employees and contractors.Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.Assist with information needed for tender submissions and facilitate client pre-qualification renewals.Gather and analyse data to provide reports and recommendations to senior management.About You: The ideal candidate will have established knowledge in Health and Safety management. Utilising excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships. You will be a proactive and agile team player with an adaptable attitude and eagerness to grow.
Skills and Experience: Proven experience in Health and Safety management.Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Health and Safety management software.Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.Why Join Our Client?
