Job Description The Health and Safety Consultant will develop and implement Montu's health and safety strategy, focusing on psycho-social risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and initiatives supporting mental well-being in a fast-paced health tech environment. This is a fully remote role with occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities Advise on health and safety matters, with a focus on managing both physical and psycho-social risks. Ensure health and safety compliance, particularly in psycho-social risk management. Identify and mitigate psycho-social risks (e.g., stress, burnout, mental health) across all levels of the organization. Develop and deliver training programs on health and safety, mental health awareness, and stress management. Conduct regular risk assessments to proactively address physical and psycho-social hazards. Review and manage incident reports, implementing and tracking corrective actions. Lead investigations into health and safety incidents, ensuring accurate records and compliant processes. Manage emergency response protocols and coordinate injury management for efficient return-to-work processes. Qualifications Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety; desirable qualifications in Psychology, Human Resources, or related fields (Master's or certifications in psycho-social risk management preferred). 3+ years in a health and safety management role, ideally within health tech, technology, or healthcare. Hands-on experience in psycho-social risk management and mental health program development. In-depth knowledge of national health and safety regulations, especially regarding psychological health and well-being. Proven track record in creating and delivering training programs on mental health and safety. Strong skills in incident reporting, investigations (ICAM Lead Investigation preferred), and safety software management, with experience in audits across multiple business units.
